There are three basic types of round paper tubes that can be distinguished.

The 3-pieces paper tube

The most elaborate, handcrafted tube consists of two sleeves: a spirally wound inner sleeve and an outer sleeve separated into a lid and body. What is special about it is the flush-fitting lid – the “Rolls-Royce” among cardboard boxes. Immediately available from stock.

The 2-pieces paper tube

In the case of the paper tube, which is also often referred to as a “slip lid box”, the outer sleeve (lid) is slipped over the inner sleeve. The lid is therefore overlying and protruding. The 1-pieces paper tube
